Chef Josh Katt has worked in the restaurant industry for over 12 years. After spending some time working with an after school cooking program in 2010, he was hired to prepare meals for a family in need of a personal chef that could cook according to the Anti-Inflammatory Diet. To CJK this diet just made sense. The diet seeks to avoid common allergens in our food system like peanuts, seeks to use the freshest and organic fruits, vegetables, and meats, and avoids most dairy, gluten, and in special cases soy. For the last 3 years Chef Josh Katt has expanded his knowledge of the Anti-Inflammatory Diet through many hours of recipe testing, reading, and on-the-job training. For people fighting cancer, IBS, or Rheumatoid Arthritis, the Anti-Inflammatory diet has been known to assist your body in fighting back, staying healthy, and helping you to feel great. While CJK for his own health does not need to eat according to a special diet, he prefers the health benefits of eating according to the Anti-Inflammatory Diet.
In 2012 Josh started CJK Foods which is a weekly meal plan subscription service in Chicago. Based around the same principles which guided his personal chef services, CJK foods brings healthy, local, organic, and deliciously prepared foods to your door step.
